    OUR COMMITMENT TO HEALTHY DAHLIAS
    At Coseytown Flowers we are fully inspected and licensed by the State of Pennsylvania for the production and distribution of plant materials and seed    . Our proactive management practices include disinfection using 10% bleach solution between every plant rotating snips. We have an expert’s eye and a ZERO tolerance policy for symptomatic plants. As a component of our disease management plan, our active pest management plan utilizes a variety of measures based on seasonal risk level with continual monitoring from first planting until final tuber harvest.

    We test for common RNA and DNA dahlia viruses including TSWV, TSV, INSV, and DMV and make substantial costly recurring investments into ongoing proactive dahlia health management, testing and research to create and utilize best practices in the responsible propagation of our plant stock.     Meet Coseytown Bermuda Pink - a dahlia diva that produces the dreamiest, most perfectly formed baby pink hued blooms. Having first emerged in the gardens of Alexandra Mosher after planting out seeds sourced from Coseytown Flowers, Alexandra shared tubers of her seedling back and this stunner has been under evaluation and propagation ever since. Coseytown Bermuda Pink's time has arrived!

    As a naturally stout and stocky plant, if you prefer to keep this dahlia as a container or landscape plant its natural growth habit will make it a perfect candidate.

    On the other hand, she needs to be actively managed into being a prime cut flower - a first pinch of the terminal bud is a must as well as continued harvesting throughout the season to encourage longer and thinner stems. Her tubers are numerous - and can store a bit softer than the typical Coseytown workhorses you may be used to. Why must the most beautiful dahlias require extra work? 

    This bloom likes a bit of morning or afternoon shade, and during the dog days of summer I will drape a 30% shade cloth over the plant. Bermuda Pink will occasionally sport beautifully bronze / almost brown blooms, because this is her world and we’re living in it - so enjoy the ride!

    Coseytown Flowers strives to offer only the highest quality single-division dahlia tubers and premium dahlia seed. All our tubers are individually labeled, and all orders are individually inspected for quality and accuracy prior to shipment. Coseytown Flowers dahlia fields and storage facilities are inspected annually by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and we possess all needed inspections and licensing to sell dahlia tubers and seed.
