2021 introduction. This dahlia was a wildcard favorite of mine last season in the field. The plant was robust and produced oodles of blooms on long, thin, strong stems above the leaf canopy. While I would consider this orchette bloom a garden dahlia, the bloom will continue to open in the vase allowing for several days vase life.
I would plant this dahlia at the entrance of your garden to captivate visitors, both human and pollinator alike. It produces both seed and ample easy storing tubers.
