Here at Coseytown Flowers we specialize in the creation, cultivation and sale of new dahlia varieties, with leading plant traits in health, growth and vigor, for the cut-flower and enthusiast markets.
Leading the charge is LeeAnn Huber - the dahlia hybridizer, educator, flower farmer and entrepreneur behind it all. Prioritizing continual growth in knowledge and practice is our guiding star, and LeeAnn's passion for lifelong learning and applying evidenced based approaches in an agricultural context is embodied in her daily mantra ‘Every day is a school day!’ LeeAnn has amassed a sizable and engaged following among fellow cut flower farmers and gardening enthusiasts, where she is known for taking topics head on in a thoughtful and engaging way while sharing her expertise on all things dahlias.
Coseytown Flowers strives to offer only the highest quality single-division dahlia tubers and premium dahlia seed. All dahlia tubers are guaranteed true to variety, and I will never sell anything I would not personally be satisfied to receive myself ...but don't just take our word for it, check out what our flower friends are sharing.
All our tubers are individually labelled, and all orders are individually inspected for quality and accuracy prior to shipment. Additionally, international tuber orders (currently Canada) are individually inspected by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. Coseytown Flowers dahlia fields and storage facilities are inspected annually by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and we possess all needed inspections and licensing to sell dahlia tubers and seed. Every dahlia tuber and seed sold have been grown right here in Greencastle, PA.
At the heart of our mission is the Coseytown commitment to transparency with continual growth in our core values of healthy plants, happy pollinators and responsible production. We take the health of our plants and tubers seriously by testing for and providing our dahlia plants with the proper conditions, nutrition and proactive management for optimal plant and pollinator health. We also proactively test for Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV), Impatiens necrotic spot virus (INSV) and Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV). Tuber Sale Info
Please carefully read the following information sections as your participation in a Tuber Sale constitutes acceptance of all terms herein.
Sales - Orders - Fulfillment Sale inventory is first-come first-serve only and all sales are final. Individually placed orders cannot be combined for reduced shipping. Orders are processed as received and cannot be modified once payment has been accepted. All sale inventory is allocated (sold) during the sale; we cannot reserve product or process sales prior to the sale launch, nor accept requests for items after they have sold out, for any reason. In the unfortunate event that allocated product should become unavailable for any reason, including unfitness or overallocation due to malfunction or error, we reserve the right to issue refunds and cancellations for affected items, with notification given. We cannot offer 'next-season' reservations. Due to the perishable nature of goods being sold, sale items are ineligible for exchange or return.
Cart - Checkout - Payments Things can move fast and items placed into the cart are not reserved. Items are only secured once a purchase is completed with accepted payment. This is standard e-commerce practice for inventory-controlled items which is not subject to change. Items-in-cart that sell out during the checkout process, or become unavailable in the requested quantities, will result in being redirected to the cart page, where affected items and/or quantities are automatically adjusted to presently available levels but require your approval to proceed, and you must successfully complete the checkout process thereafter before remaining quantities have been exhausted.
Payments Payments are processed by Shopify Payments. If you've done much shopping online you have likely used Shopify Payments elsewhere. You are not required to have a 'Shop Pay' account to participate in the sale, however, Shop Pay is awesome and we think you'll love it - not only for the fastest and best-in-class checkout experience, but also for many other reasons like Apple Pay and Google Pay integration options, seamless app-based order status and delivery tracking right from your phone and automatic carbon offsets for shipping emissions - we're here for it.
Quality and Customer Service Coseytown Flowers strives to offer only the highest quality single-division dahlia tubers. All dahlia tubers sold have been grown right here in Greencastle, PA. All are guaranteed true to variety and to have at least one viable eye. Coseytown Flowers cannot guaruntee the performance of your plantings and is not responsible for issues resulting from unsuitable growing conditions, insect or rodent damage, poor management or negligence. Even with the best systems and precautions, issues may occasionally arise; however, we can only make them right if we know about them. If there is an issue with an item please reach out to us within 3 days of order delivery by responding to the relevant order email. If your inquiry concerns the quality or viability of a dahlia tuber, please include both a specific written description of the issue and a short video (preferred) and/or photos with your correspondence. Please note that we can neither accept nor administrate effective customer service requests through social media; thank you for your understanding. After reviewing your submission we will determine, at the sole discretion of Coseytown Flowers, eligibility for tuber replacement. Refunds are issued when eligible replacements cannot be fulfilled. We cannot offer 'next-season' reservations. Please note that tuber replacement can only be offered to US customers.
Orders will be processed and shipped by location and according to the order received. Orders to southern states typically begin shipping in mid-March. Orders to northern states typically begin shipment from early April. In all cases, dahlia tuber shipping dates will vary as-needed according to weather and location. We cannot offer custom shipment dates, accept requests for early shipment, nor hold shipments for any reason.
Orders are shipped to the shipping address provided by the customer at checkout, and it is the customers responsibility to provide a valid and deliverable shipping address. Please also verify the shipping address found on your order confirmation email and notify us immediately of any errors or corrections needed. Please note that domestic orders cannot be modified to international or out-of-market addresses.
Notice to Alaska residents Alaska orders will ship at the same time as Canadian order shipment and the buyer accepts all associated risks by participating in the sale.
Canadian customers - All preceding sale terms apply except where specifically superseded below. Please read all preceding sections and the following Canada-specific information:
Inspections and Phytosanitary Certificate We have simplified the ordering process regarding phyto certifications and shipping; please read carefully. All Canadian orders require a Phytosanitary Certificate with individual inspection of your order by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. An associated fee of $25 per order placed will be added at checkout as the required 'shipping' option 'Phyto Cert'. There is no longer a phyto cert 'product' to find and add to your cart. This charge does not cover shipping fees, which are mandatory, and will be subsequently invoiced as described below.
International Shipping Canadian customers will be invoiced international shipment charges after the sale and sufficiently prior to order shipment. Please note that while we invoice shipping to you at our cost for your specific order, shipping to Canada is never inexpensive. Shipment costs can start from $30+ USD (generally up to ~10 tubers) to $55 USD or more for large orders. Placing an order in the sale constitutes agreement to subsequently pay the invoiced shipping charge. Orders will not be held or refunded due to non-payment of required shipping charges. Please again note, as also stated in the Terms of Sale, that individually placed orders cannot be combined for reduced shipping.

Customs, Import Duties and Taxes Coseytown Flowers provides all required certificates and documentation for import. The buyer is solely responsible for any Canadian import fees or taxes due and Coseytown Flowers assumes no liability for orders held in customs.
