Coseytown® Malibu
When you get to know Coseytown Malibu, growing is like experiencing another day in dahlia paradise. Coseytown Malibu’s 3” blooms feature a high petal count, recurving fully to the stem, and have been described by floral designers as a warm pink coral in color. Don’t be fooled by her pretty face though. This is a robust, densely foliated 5’ plant with a vertical growth habit that remains productive, delivering high-quality blooms late into the growing season. In fact, Coseytown Malibu is known to maintain its beautiful form and petal count right up until the day frost arrives here in the mid-Atlantic. This dahlia makes abundant and generously eyed, easy storing tubers – and she grows one of my favorite tuber types. Not too big, not too small, no necks to break, and she maintains firmness in long term storage conditions.
