Seed in our CT Honey Pot Dahlia Seed Mix was collected from Coseytown® Honey Pot and was open pollinated amongst other collarette varieties. While growing from seed is an adventure and results cannot be predicted or guaranteed, this intentional curation of genetics aims for dahlias with collarette and collarette-like forms coupled with CT™ Honey Pot’s truly unique features!

Dahlia seeds DO NOT grow true to the parent variety and there are endless possibilities when growing dahlias from seed. Each seed is a surprise!
In our own trials, seeds from Coseytown Honey Pot have exhibited a tendency to germinate in about 6 to 9 days. Please note that while we select only the finest seeds for sale in each mix, dahlia germination rates are variable and germination rates for our mixes have not been determined in the lab.
