Genuine Coseytown® dahlias are exclusively sold right here in the Coseytown Dahlia Shop. Important Ordering Information
∙ Dahlia tuber orders are shipped for spring-time planting in your area. See our shipping page for more details.

∙ Listings for named dahlia cultivars are for single division root tubers. Unless otherwise noted, quantity 1 = one tuber.

∙ Our farm exclusively grows and sells Coseytown cultivars and we do not have quantity limits on most items. If there is a quantity limit on a particular item, it will be noted within the relevant product listing; such limits are per household and per sale event.

As an independent occupational hybridizer, family farm and woman-owned business, we make significant investments into the creation, propagation and sale of our dahlias. Moreover, as a business we have, and continue to, reinvest heavily into the creation of market leading protocols, products and services for the cut flower and dahlia markets through the support of those who invest in us with their patronage.

As the dahlia market continues to evolve we have found it necessary and prudent to protect our business and ability to continue to serve our customers in this way. Accordingly, we have chosen to invest into our rights as a business involved in the creation and sale of an original product, which are protected by terms of sale, intellectual property rights and, most importantly, the goodwill and support of our customers and community.

Were you lucky enough to grow up with a mulberry tree? Did you fill buckets up with these jammy berries, only to wipe your juicy hands and face all over your shirt? Coseytown Mulberry elicits that same delicious berry purple color with a perfect hint of red – just like those berry-stained clothes! You probably made quite a mess, but wasn’t it a fantastic one?

Coseytown Mulberry is a very attractive plant. Dark green foliage compliments nearly black stems that support 3” blooms seated above the leaf canopy. Multiple blooms can be seen in bloom at the same time on the same plant throughout the season. And after a successful flower season, you’ll be smitten with a plethora of hearty, easy to divide tubers.

Don’t think that just because Coseytown Mulberry, having met all my nine key cut flower traits and attaining the honor of being called a Coseytown Cut Flower Dahlia, means that this cultivar won’t shine as a landscape or garden plant either. Because - it does! Coseytown Mulberry will make for an excellent planting partner with Coseytown First Bloom and Coseytown Dollys Heart in your own garden and landscape!

LeeAnn's Hybridizer Notes
CT™ Mulberry’s dense and dark green foliage is very attractive, especially when planted in small groupings. Visitors often comment on how the deep dark stem color perfectly highlights the juicy blooms seated atop.

In our the propagation fields this variety is often grown with netting support because it is already in place. I've also grown CT Mulberry plants in my raised bed garden which received no support and they've grown wonderfully with no plant weakness. Blooms were a favorite cut for bunches and were harvested clean every week.
