Dahlia Shop Sales Policy

Please expand and read the sections below & read the linked Terms of Sale as your purchase constitutes acceptance of terms therein. 

Due to the perishable nature of goods being sold, sale items are ineligible for exchange or return. Sale inventory of dahlia tubers and seed are first-come first-serve and all sales are final. Orders are processed as received and cannot be modified once payment has been made. We reserve the right to issue refunds and cancellations as needed for items or orders not yet shipped in the unfortunate event that product should become unavailable for any reason including unfitness or overallocation due to malfunction or error. Should a particular item become unavailable we do not offer 'next-season' reservations or substitute alternate items and will instead issue a full refund for the affected product.

Cart and Checkout
Items placed into the cart are not reserved. If items-in-cart sell out during the checkout process or become unavailable in the requested quantities, adjustments are required to complete checkout.

Accepted payment methods are displayed in the site footer, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal and most major credit cards.

Order Cancellation
Should order cancellation be required, the customer must make their request via email within 72 hours of order placement, and orders that have moved into fulfillment and shipping are ineligible for cancellation. Cancelled orders are subject to an order cancellation fee of $10 or 10% of the order price, whichever is greater. 

Dahlia Tuber Products
Excluding dahlia seed products, all product listings for named dahlia cultivars are for one single division root tuber unless otherwise noted. Quantity 1 = One tuber

Shipping Times

Shipments are provided via USPS with tracking service or equivalent major carrier and service. You will receive timely communications throughout the fulfillment and delivery period to keep you well informed. Please see the respective 'Dahlia Tubers' and 'Seed' sections below concerning customary fulfillment and delivery times. 

Shipping Address
Orders are shipped to the shipping address provided by the customer at checkout, and it is the customers responsibility to provide a valid and deliverable shipping address and to verify the shipping address found on the order confirmation email or in their Dahlia Shop account order details page. Please notify us immediately of any address errors or corrections needed by replying to the order confirmation email.

Dahlia Tuber Products
Shipping for dahlia tuber orders is available to all 50 United States. Typical carrier estimated delivery times for domestic tuber shipments are 2-3 days unless otherwise specified. As is customary, dahlia tubers orders are held for spring-time fulfillment and shipping between March and May. Orders to southern states typically begin shipping in mid-March. Orders to northern states typically begin shipment from early April. Tubers are a living, perishable product and in all cases dahlia tuber shipping dates will vary as-needed according to location and weather considerations (from us to you), and will continue until all orders have been dispatched. In order to keep things moving fast and accurate during a peak farm activity time, we cannot offer custom shipment dates, accept requests for early shipment, nor hold shipments for any reason.

Seed Products
Shipping for dahlia seed orders is available to all 50 United States. Unless otherwise noted, your seed order will be shipped promptly and will not be held for spring-time shipment with tuber orders when seed and tubers are purchased in the same order. Carrier estimated delivery times for domestic seed shipments are generally 2-5 days or less.

Shipping Fees
Shipping charges are non-refundable and cannot be 'combined'. If you will be shopping the opening day of a Sale we strongly encourage you to take advantage of our Coseytown Dream Cart feature to pre-load your perfect cart in advance of the sale opening rather than splitting up your desired purchase across multiple orders.

Damage and Loss
While we package your tuber and seed orders with care to protect against damage in transit, Coseytown Flowers cannot guarantee the performance of the carrier nor assume liability for carrier-related losses. Coseytown Flowers and the carrier are not liable for losses from package theft or negligence of the recipient. Delivery status is designated solely by the carrier according to geo-located package scans. If you cannot locate a package which has been marked by the carrier as delivered, please contact your local Post Office for assistance.

Dahlia Tubers
Dahlia tubers are guaranteed true to variety and to have at least one
viable eye. Please note your tubers may commonly be shipped in a dormant state and sprout development from the eye will begin when stored in conditions suitable to break dormancy for a period of about 2-4 weeks depending on the variety. Dahlia tubers are a perishable product and as such you accept responsibility for issues concerning the ongoing storage of your tubers after receipt. Please read the growing and care instructions PDF provided with your order to give your new Coseytown creations all the love they deserve. Order Inspection and Tuber Replacement
All tuber orders are inspected for quality and accuracy by multiple team members prior to dispatch. Even with the best systems and precautions, issues may occasionally arise; however, we can only make them right if we know about them.

Please carefully inspect your tuber order upon delivery. If there are any issues with your product or order as received, a service request must be initiated within 5 days of delivery by following the simple customer service request process provided with your order to be eligible for tuber replacement. Do not dispose of your package, product or any packing materials. If there is an issue or concern with a tuber's viability, please reach out before planting out or potting up the tuber. For issues concerning the quality and viability of a dahlia tuber, both a specific written description of the issue with a short video and/or photos showing the tuber's markings and the issue described will be required as part of the service request process. We reserve the right to request the return of the original product before replacements are issued. Tubers are not eligible for replacement based on cosmetic defects or any other concern that does not affect the viability of the tuber for field planting. Tubers from which cuttings have been taken or attempted become ineligible for further customer service.

After reviewing your submission or return, we will determine eligibility for tuber replacement and if a tuber replacement is issued it will be at no charge to you. Refunds or store credit are issued to the original payment method only when replacements cannot be fulfilled. Refunds are limited to the original purchase price of the product. We do not accept any form of liability or damages resulting from loss. Please note that we do not make substitutions and cannot offer 'next-season' reservations for replacement-eligible items that cannot be fulfilled.
