Our hybridization priorities have been shaped by our own experiences as a cut flower farm in search of the best varieties to bring maximum impact to both our operation and bottom line as a cut flower farm - and our enjoyment as dahlia enthusiasts too!
To earn the distinction Coseytown-Certified Cut Flower a variety must demonstrate its ability to consistently meet or exceed expectations on the following traits:

Meet Coseytown Lois Lane! This super dahlia is a dark purple similar to the popular dahlia Diva. True to many Coseytown varieties, Lois Lane blooms on strong stems above the leaf canopy, has a strong 45° blossom attachment, and is a good tuber producer. The petals fold back to the stem creating a stunning 360-degree view. Make sure you view the product video for a better look!
This dahlia is a seedling of Skipley Lois Jean and to honor the parentage the name "Lois" was retained. Coseytown Lois Lane was originally slotted for a 2023 New Intro, but she was so generous in the tuber department that I'm excited to be kicking things off ahead of schedule with a 2022 Limited Release!
