The heart of the hybridization program at Coseytown Flowers is firmly rooted in developing the best possible dahlias for profitable cut flower production. Our hybridization priorities have been shaped by our own experiences as a cut flower farm in search of the best varieties to bring maximum impact to both our operation and bottom line as a cut flower farm - and our enjoyment as dahlia enthusiasts too!
To earn the distinction Coseytown-Certified Cut Flower a variety must demonstrate its ability to consistently meet or exceed expectations on the following traits:
∙ Tuber Productivity and Storability
∙ Plant Growth Habit

Meet Coseytown Good Night! This burgundy bloom can carry you well into your fall markets with stunningly perfect blooms. The first flush of bloom started end of Aug for me (South Central Pennsylvania) and continued strong until frost. No weak stems. No blown open blooms. Delightfully long stems from the first flush. Good Night also exhibits improved resistance to powdery mildew; when other neighboring plants were affected, Coseytown Good Night was living its best life.
This dahlia has a very strong blossom attachment and is generous with its tubers! When other dahlias may be taking a break, Coseytown Good Night will help you finish strong at your markets and in your garden.
